Equipment for drip testing according to UNE 23725-90

Example image

The test consists of applying a constant source of heat to the surface of a test sample in order to cause the ignition of the released gases and the fall of droplets, inflamed or not inflamed.

The equipment consists of a radiator, with a nominal power of 500W, a support for the test sample and a receptacle for drops filled with cellulose wadding (hydrophilic cotton 100% sanitary type).

The equipment is placed inside a cabin with a ventilation system that DOES NOT have to be in operation during the test but DO need to be turned on after completion to facilitate the extraction of fumes.
