Ana María Lacasta Palacio

PhD in Physical Sciences at University of Barcelona. She is Professor at the Department of Architectural Technology at UPC.

Head of the research group GICITED and the Accustics and Energy Saving Laboratory at the EPSEB.

Professor of the Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Technology and Building Construction and in the Master's Degree in Advanced Building Construction, both at the Barcelona School of Building Construction.

She is developing its research, basically, in the fields of development and characterization of bio-materials for use in construction and in the analysis and improvement of fire behavior of materials.

She is currently Deputy Director of EPSEB and she coordinates the PhD program "Technology of Architecture of Building and Urban Planning".
