The LIGNOMAD 25 Congress was held in Granada from September 24 to 26, and several members of the Fire Lab participated in it.

The LIGNOMAD 25 congress was held in Granada on September 24, 25 and 26, organized by the Lignomad network (led by the GICITED research group) and the Universidad de Granada. The aim of this event is to promote the use of wood and other lignocellulosic materials in the construction sector, and it also serves as a forum to showcase the work carried out by the members and collaborators of the network, of which the Fire Lab team are members. It also provides a platform for participation by all professionals, technicians, business owners, manufacturers, students, and others interested in the wood construction sector.

On this occasion, several members of the group participated actively. On September 24, the opening and welcome event featured Ana Maria Lacasta, head of the Lignomad network and also of the GICITED research group. Laia Haurie and Antoni Ortiz presented a paper entitled "Lilu's House: housing, business and living lab". The 25th began with a talk by guest speaker Pilar Giraldo, a member of the research committee and researcher at INCAFUST-CTFC, entitled "Wood and fire: the art of predictable combustion". This was followed by a presentation by Alina Avellaneda entitled "Influence of accelerated aging chamber exposure on color and fire reaction in seven wood species", who also presented a poster entitled "Behavior of bamboo-derived products subjected to accelerated aging cycles".
