The Fire Lab in the media

On the afternoon of Thursday 22 February a fire broke out in a 14-storey residential building in the Campanar district of Valencia. The magnitude of the fire and its rapid spread along the façade has put the safety of certain materials and construction systems in crisis.

As a result of the fire, several media outlets have reported on the research carried out at the EPSEB Fire Lab, related to the improvement of the reaction to fire of construction materials and the propagation through façades and interior courtyards.
